What to Expect

This weekend retreat is about creating a safe space for grieving mothers to connect and heal on levels only other bereaved mothers can relate to. It will allow you the time and space to share openly about your child, provide you with tools and resources to help you continue on your grief journey, and equip you with an amazing community of women to walk alongside you on this journey.

Being with other bereaved mothers can be incredibly comforting. During the retreat, there will be times when we meet in a large group setting, but we will share the most intimate times in small groups. 

When

June 7-8, 2025

Check-in will be from 9-10 am on Saturday and we will wrap things up by 2/3 pm on Sunday. 

Where

This retreat will take place at The Leadership Center in Aurora, Nebraska, a beautiful 43-acre property. We will have access to rooms in the lodge right on the property and we will gather together in the main building as well as outdoors. You will have the option to share a room with one other person (each having your own full-size bed) or pay a little more to have a single room. Your meals will be catered and served in the dining hall on-site. If you have any special dietary restrictions/requests, please let us know asap as they are happy to assist in that area. 

The Specifics

Included is one night of lodging, all meals and beverages, workbooks and materials, and more. This experience will provide you not only with tools to help you on your grief journey but also a lifetime of friendships and support. Thanks to generous donations from the Kathy Keller Memorials, rates this year are $175.
